Senior Accountant
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
– Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (ledger, journal entries, and petty cash).
– Record all sales and purchase invoices, including material transactions.
– Calculation of Monthly Sale Tax Filing Return (TVA) and closely working with the auditor for the filing.
2. Inventory and Material Management
– Monitor and reconcile the stocks in hand. (Opening, purchases and closing stocks).
– Track Inward vs outward figures to flag any abnormalities or Damages.
– Coordinate with the warehouse team for physical stock audits and discrepancy resolution.
3. Cost Accounting
– Preparing landing cost for the importing materials on invoice basis and supporting pricing decisions.
– Monitor overheads and propose cost optimization measures.
4. Debtor Analysis
– Preparing Debtor ageing analysis report for the effective control over the credit limits and for the healthy flow of funds.
– Alarming the sales team about dumping sales and credit recovery based on the dealers operational history.
5. Payroll & Labour Accounting
– Prepare monthly wages and salary sheets.
– Maintain records of attendance, advance payments, and statutory deductions.
6. Banking
– preparing Bank account reconciliation for effective fund management.
– Maintaining smooth relation with the Bank Account Manager (Gestionnaire de compte bancaire) for the effective control over Bank Accounts.
7. Reporting & MIS
– Submit monthly profitability statements & monthly management report.
– Reporting daily sales and daily movement of stocks to HO.
– Preparing and submitting stock ageing report on weekly and monthly basis.
– Generate MIS reports on sales, and operational KPIs on requirement basis.
8. Coordination & Controls
– Working closely with the sales team to maintain the pricing policies and credit limits for the healthy operation of the company.
– Coordinate with the Warehouse team to maintain accuracy on deliveries and effective stock management.
